September French Fishing

Fishing a 120 acre lake in Dijon you can night fish one side of the lake and day fish only the other side. Me and my grumpy friend Bam, who really is so grumpy and pig headed at times decided not to fish the night fishing side but to fish the day only side,as the wind would be blowing right on to that side all week, but the down side of fishing that bank is that we would have to bring in our rods at sunset. The first day for me was slow just a 21lb common bam had two doubles. The next day I had a high double,but I decided to move swims and fish out further to fish that I had seen jumping and baited up in the evening with some boilies and particles just a small amount about 5lb mixed.

But Bam was starting to get a few more takes in his swim, he had 5 fish with the biggest 29lb and to be his biggest of the trip. But he was full of confidence for the next day, little did he know that he would be blanking for the next two days. As for me the move payed dividends I had 11 takes with the biggest 31lb and a load of twenties that evening I baited up again with a small amount of bait,and the next day I had 11 takes again with the biggest 43lb with a good head of twenties. On the last day we both caught high doubles to finish the session of with. We had Dutch and French fishermen from the other side come over as they were blanking,to see what we were doing different!!
